The short version
- We only collect what you give us through the two forms on our site, plus business contact details we find publicly if we approach you first.
- We use it to reply to you and to introduce our services. Nothing else.
- We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels. There is no tracking on this website.
- We never sell your details, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
- Ask us to stop or to delete your details and we will, straight away.
The rest of this page sets out the detail the law requires, in plain English. If anything is unclear, email jack@fyndable.co.uk and we'll explain it.
Who we are
Fyndable is a trading name of Rivis Group Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, which means we decide how and why it is used.
This is our registered office address for correspondence. We do not operate a public office at this address.
If you use the free AI Visibility Score
What we collect
Your website address, your email address, your answers to the six questions, and the indicative score those answers produce.
Why
To give you your score, to reply to you personally about what it means, and to offer a paid audit if we think one would help. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Our lawful basis
Legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: responding to someone who has asked us for something, and following up on a business enquiry. You asked for the score, so replying to you is what you would reasonably expect. You can object at any time and we will stop.
If you contact us
What we collect
Your name, email address, your company or website, the package you're interested in if you tell us, and whatever you write in the message.
Why and on what basis
To reply to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss and provide the service. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, and where we go on to agree work, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b).
If we contacted you about our services
If we approached you first, you did not give us your details, so the law requires us to tell you where we got them and what we're doing with them.
Where we got your details
From your firm's own public website, or from a publicly accessible professional directory. We do not buy marketing lists.
What we hold
Your name, job title and business email address, and your firm's name, website and location. We hold no special category data, and nothing about your private life.
Why, and our lawful basis
To introduce our services to firms we believe would find them relevant. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), specifically business development. We have carried out and recorded a Legitimate Interests Assessment weighing our interest against your rights, and you can ask us for a copy at jack@fyndable.co.uk.
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Reply to any email with “unsubscribe” or “no thanks”, or email us, and we will stop immediately and not contact you again.
Who else handles your data
We keep this list as short as we can. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing.
- Formspree — delivers our website form submissions to us. They act as our processor and handle the data on our instructions.
- [INSERT HOSTING PROVIDER] — hosts this website and its server logs.
- Google Fonts — our typefaces load from Google's servers, which means your IP address is visible to Google when the page loads. We use no Google analytics or advertising products.
- Our email provider — holds the correspondence between us, as with any email.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a regulator or in response to a valid legal request.
Sending data outside the UK
Some of the providers above are based in the United States, so your details may be transferred outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place for UK transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or their certification under the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
If you'd like the specifics for a particular provider, ask us and we'll tell you which safeguard applies.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session tracking and no profiling. We don't know who you are until you choose to tell us by using a form.
Your free score is worked out in your own browser from your answers. Nothing is stored on your device.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and free score submissions: [INSERT PERIOD, suggested 24 months] from our last contact with you, then deleted.
- Prospects we contacted who did not reply: [INSERT PERIOD, suggested 12 months] from the last contact, then deleted.
- Clients: for the duration of the work and then for six years afterwards, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
- If you ask us to stop contacting you: we keep a minimal record of your details indefinitely on a suppression list. This is the only way to make sure we never contact you again by mistake.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Object to direct marketing. This right is absolute. If you object, we stop, and there is nothing to weigh up.
- Be told what we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate details corrected.
- Have your details deleted in most circumstances.
- Restrict how we use your details while a query is resolved.
- Object to other processing based on our legitimate interests, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds not to.
To use any of these, email jack@fyndable.co.uk. We respond within one month and it costs you nothing. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we don't hand your details to somebody else.
We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not profile you.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, tell us first at jack@fyndable.co.uk and put “Data complaint” in the subject line. We'll acknowledge it within five working days and give you a full response within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time. You do not have to come to us first.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and change the version and date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we'll tell you directly.
